cold, rain, wind. long sleeves, hoodie, jacket, scarf.
Even though it’s miserable, I’m kind of thankful for the “stay inside all day” weather because It forces me to get things done.
This week is stressful.
But I have so much to be happy about and look forward to.

I want pumpkin patches and homemade cookies, scarves and wool socks. I want cold air and brisk mornings. I want hot chai and gloved hands to hold. Board games at the coffee shop at the edge of town and waking up next to you every morning. I want fall and winter. Wrapping Christmas presents and picking out a tree. Celebrating New Years alone because why would we want to be with anyone else. Wine and dark beer, sleeping in and maple brown-sugar oatmeal for breakfast. I want us. I want forever.
